Start a family group

One adult in the family - the family organiser – can set up Family Sharing from their iPhone or iPad. 

On your iPhone or iPad

1) Go to Settings. 

2) Tap on your name (iPhone showing Family Sharing in Settings)

3) Tap on Family Sharing, then tap on Set Up Your Family. 

Follow the onscreen instructions below to set up your family and invite your teenagers.

You can only be a part of one family at a time.  

On your iPhone or iPad

1) Go to Settings. 

2) Tap on your name, then tap on Family Sharing. 

3) Tap on Add Member. 

4) If your child doesn't have an Apple ID, tap Create an Account for a Child. But if your child already has an Apple ID, tap Invite People. They can enter their Apple ID password on your device to accept the invitation. 

5) Follow the onscreen instructions. 

See if your child has accepted the invitation 

After you've sent the invitation, you can check its status.  

On your iPhone or iPad

1) Go to Settings. 

2) Tap on your name. 

3) Tap on Family Sharing. 

4) To see the status of the invitation, select that person's name.  

5) If you need to resend the invitation, select Resend Invitation. 

Your children will receive an invitation by email or in a text message and they can respond directly from the invitation. If they miss the email or text invitation, respond from device Settings or System Preferences.  

On your children's iPhone or iPad

1) Go to Settings. 

2) Tap on your name. 

3) Tap on Invitations. 

To accept an invitation, follow the onscreen instructions. When you join a family, you may be asked to confirm your account information and to opt in to any features or services your family have set up.  

If you can't accept the invitation 

If you can't accept the invitation, check if someone else has joined a family with your Apple ID. Remember, you can only join one family at a time, and you can only switch to a different family group once per year.

Once you have set up your family group, you can start the adding the family to DiGi the app.   

Parent / Guardian device: 

1) click on 'Add children to DiGi'

1) Enter name and phone number  

Children's device:  

1) download DiGi the app 

2) select child device option 

3) Enter your children' phone number and input 6 digit code 

4) Confirm family sharing and enter you appleID and passcode. 

5) The confirmation screen on the left will appear.   

The process is now complete and you can start using DiGi.
